Earlier this tenday, a Sunite named Charlissa entered town and requested the aid of the Crimson Phoenix. During her travels to Fenix her caravan was attacked by bandits, the guards and wagons were taken and Charlissa was able to hide and go for help. A small group of mercenaries were able to retrieve her item and two of the guards survived. One of the items recovered was Sune’s Hearth, a candle that heals any disease or illnesses. The mercenaries were compensated for their time and trouble.

After recuperating, Charlissa and her guards started her search for a plot of land to build the temple. After several attempts and finding many bandits, goblins, and orcs, she decided to try and hire a local scout. She spoke to Dalek about someone that would be able to assist her and that has a great knowledge of the area. He directed her to Lord Aermane; she accepted his advice and left a message of her request of an audience with him.

I accompanied Roman to the fort and met with Amedil Ste’fentheren. It took a couple of hours of talking before he agreed to the temple being placed by Lake Ava. Roman escorted me back to Fenix and I have begun to order the supplies needed.

The land has been cleared and we have begun construction. Everything is on schedule and moving smoothly. I have enjoyed watching it being built from the ground up. It is truly an amazing sight.

The exterior has been completed and they have started on the interior. The small cottage has been completed as well, and I have moved my belongings and I will be living there till the temple is complete. I have ordered the items to replace the ones that were damaged in the raid. It will not be long till it is finished.

Dalek the town crier rings the bell and reads the announcement out loud: “Priestess Charlissa Mendry is pleased to announce the opening of the Sune Temple. They will be serving refreshments and offering tours of the facility in a few days. More information to come.”
